We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing activities for Lubrication Specialties' Hot Shot's Secrets brand of products safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending 
  • Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
  • Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
  • Drive purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis and market trends
  • Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality
  • Identify and pursue new supplier opportunities
  • Conduct market research and create cost estimates/forecasts
  • Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
  • Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and develop strong partnerships
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or related field required 
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in sourcing.
  • Proven work experience as a Sourcing Manager or Procurement Manager 
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, sound business judgement, and strong project management and leadership skills 
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills 
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships 
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Office suite, email, QuickBooks, MS Office, inventory databases 
 Salary will be determined based on skill set.  This is an entry level to intermediate level position.
