JOB SUMMARY:       Provide Marketing vision and expertise about our markets, our consumers, and competitors.  Develop and recommend strategies and tactics that bring about profitable growth while positioning Lubrication Specialties as a marketing leader in our industry.  Through brand marketing, the Director will create a seamless experience across all channels by developing a creative marketing strategy.  Developing a traditional, digital, and social roadmap that inspires and intrigues our customers and consumers.  The Director will inspire and provide leadership to the Brand Marketing, Event and Digital teams.
·         Provide vision and growth strategies for Lubrication Specialties brands by leading a best-in-class Marketing Team.
·         Develop comprehensive marketing strategy, prioritizing and allocating investments according to a thoughtful balance of brand goals and business requirements, ensuring messages and budgets are distributed across the right channels and markets to meet sales objectives. 
·         Relentless awareness and industry expertise regarding the market, our categories, consumers, customers, competitors, and all associated trends and merchandising strategies that results in game changing strategies for Lubrication Specialties to achieve profitable growth.
·         Ensure brand content including all copy and creative is best-in-class and meets brand requirements that build upon brand equity and develops a community of brand loyalists and advocates.
·         Develop and manage brand identities, including naming and packaging, communications architecture, and brand identity standards/guidelines.
·         Lead strategy on digital business models and technologies, articulating the digital future and the organization’s role in it, both internally and externally.
·         Owner of e-commerce including strategy, implementation and revenue driving initiatives including, but not limited to, responsive site development, P&L management, creative, merchandising, planning, and experience 
·         Oversee communications strategy inclusive of marketing, digital, advertising, and PR that reflects both current and long-term business objectives and growth goals.
·         Work collaboratively with Sales in soliciting sales information, customer input, and market data to assist in brand planning. 
·         Oversee and manage pricing structures.
·         Execute and oversee Brand Licensing Agreements.
·         Oversight for marketing budget, financial measures and gross profit margin targets.
·    Coordinate necessary consumer research to understand consumer, identify any unmet consumer needs, attack market opportunities, and drive new product development.
·    Collaborate and provide direction for strategies and relationships with selected Ad Agency, Public Relations firm and other external vendors, identifying best solutions for brand growth and recognition.
·    Lead, manage and oversee all aspects of incremental product innovation.
·    Lead change and business initiatives creating a team culture that enthusiastically executes Lubrication Specialties brand strategies.
·         Empower your team to identify their personal and professional goals and objectives.  Create development plans for the team to accomplish their winning strategies.
·         Execute performance management process to align organizational, team and individual goals and review accomplishment of results annually.

·         Leadership and oversight for Graphic Design Services optimizing efficiencies and capacity.
·         Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing required.  MBA with strong emphasis in Marketing preferred.
·         Minimum of 10 years in marketing/brand management experience with emphasis in consumer products.
·         Must have 5-7 years of experience leading a team of marketing professionals in a consumer products company.
·         High energy, positive can-do attitude who not only achieves, but exceeds in a fast-paced        entrepreneurial environment.
·         Experience setting and managing budgets including revision and reallocation throughout the fiscal year base on business performance. 
·         Successful track record of new product development and aggregate marketing strategy development and execution.  
·         Demonstrated ability as a valued senior team member who can effectively and positively influence others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
·         Experience working with outside vendors to develop marketing strategies and implementation plans.
·         Mass merchant and Big Box consumer product experience is required. 
·         Marketing experience with engine related equipment a plus.

·         Being the marketing expert on the consumer, competition, our marketing partners, and business trends for products in the relevant businesses.
·         Developing and growing Lubrication Specialties, Inc.’s brand presence to support our position as the leader in products that are Power By Science.
·         Working in concert with Sales and Channel Management to identify and implement customer programs and elements including displays and signage, program/promotions, training and other tools to effectively drive sales through the retail channels.
